The director has a bit of experience in Marvel Television, from Jessica Jones to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The Director and Admiral film director Roel Reine has been hired to direct the two-part series premire of Marvel Television's Inhuman.

The first two episodes, directed by Reine, will premiere in IMAX on September 1 before moving to ABC for the rest of the series.

So far, we know that Inhumans will focus on the royal family characters from Marvel Comics; will be the first big property to be shot entirely in IMAX; and will follow Marvel Comics lore by being partially set on the moon. Beyond the theatrical premiere, however, we now know when Inhumans will be premiering on television.

THR did a report about IMAX's desire to quickly find another television partner, and buried in that report it was revealed that Inhumans will premiere on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, and is expected to run eight consecutive episodes - which would set the finale on Tuesday, November 14, 2017.

The Inhumans will officially have their own series thanks to ABC and Marvel Television, but “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” VFX supervisor Mark Kolpack won’t be behind it. When asked by a fan whether or not he’ll be involved with the upcoming new series, Kolpack made it clear that he’ll be too busy working on “S.H.I.E.L.D.” to play with “Inhumans,” as intriguing as it sounds to him.

Announced via IGN, the series will send classic Inhumans Medusa, Black Bolt, Crystal and Gorgon into space once again, along with Nuhumans Flint and Swain and Marvel Boy. Writer Al Ewing and artist Jonboy Meyers will helm the comic, which will find the character revisiting their alien heritage. The group will set off on a mission visit the destroy Kree homeworld in an effort to more fully understand the origin and process of Terrigenesis, the means through which the Inhuman genes and powers are activated.
